Ingrid Sagøy has worked as designer and artist since 1993. Norway Designs in Oslo, Kunstindustrimuseet in Trondheim and Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice among others have sold her designs
Kunstindustrimuseet i Trondheim og Peggy Guggenheim Museum i Venezia har bla. solgt hennes design.
She was invited to create felt designs by the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in 2007 for the Barney and Beuys exhibition.
The AIRwave installation, which consists of designer furniture made of birch and trout leather, has been purchased by Avinor, Trondheim Airport.
Focusing on tradition and the detail of the craft she designed a traditional costume, Nidarosa, inspired by Nidaros Cathedral. She has also made four other traditional costumes.
Sagøy has exhibited at the world’s most famous contemporary Art Biennale, The 51st
International Contemporary Art Biennale in Venice,
Museum Ca’Pesaro i Venezia, Santa Caterina Museum i Treviso i Italia, Bevilacqua La Masa I Venezia,
Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice, the International Cultural Festival in Rabat in
Morocco, Gallery Profile in Poznan in Poland
and Gallery SG in Trondheim.
She has also worked at Nord University as a Lector in Fine Arts.
